Simon Murphy’s journey in the construction industry began with his passion for carpentry and building. With 20 years of experience as a carpenter and builder, Simon felt a compelling drive to enhance his skills and knowledge, aiming to make people’s dreams a reality through his work. His career took a significant turn when he joined the ABN Group, where he faced and overcame numerous challenges, particularly adapting to the evolving Australian standards and codes. These challenges led him to the building inspections industry.
During his tenure as a Site Manager and later as a Regional Construction Manager, Simon achieved remarkable milestones. He was entrusted with the construction of four display homes before being promoted to Regional Construction Manager in December 2016. In his role as a Site Manager, he built a total of 112 homes, valued at $26,867,445. As a Regional Construction Manager, he oversaw the construction of 830 new homes, with a total value of $252,765,878.
Over the past 11 years, Simon’s role evolved significantly. He acquired extensive knowledge of the building and construction industry, regulations, and laws, which now guide him in helping customers with VCAT and DBDRV. His expertise in customer service, program management, and IT has further solidified his professional capabilities.
